Best hamper ever
We attended Diner en Blanc in London which required EVERYTHING to be white. This super gorgeous picnic hamper couldn't have been any more perfect. It is beautifully deluxe and holds just the right amount of food for 2 people even with 2 bottles of wine inside. I also put small picnic sized salt and pepper mills inside. The Tamar picnic hamper is just the most perfect thing to own. I received loads of compliments on it, and everybody asked where I got it. Good bed, bad tent
The bed is great, large, very comfortable for someone even of my height (183cm).
I was looking for a complete solution, however; as I'll be travelling to Africa I wanted to set up this bed in my hostel room and be comfortable and safe from mosquitoes. However, the tent doesn't have a floor. At the joints (i.e. in the corners), there are gaps between the frame of the bed and fabric, hence mosquitoes could enter the sleeping pod from below. I'm having to order the highlander mosquito tent to use on top of the bed - which I'll repeat is great. Anyways, for the price I can't complain, the bed costs the same with or without the tent! So no money lost... But still 4 stars as this wasn't clear.

TLDR; great bed, but the sleeping pod is for privacy only and won't keep out the bugs.

brilliant tent, in all weathers....
We are a family of 4, kids aged 4 and 6. Our old dome tent was getting too small and the fibre glass poles were spitting. Did lots of research and finally went for it and bought a 5m bell tent with inner. Reasons? liked the canvas breathability thing, it looks amazing, it will get used for kids parties, easy for one of us to put up, the inner allows mum and dad a bit of privacy, and it should last if we look after it.
Well?? just returned from three day trip with the kids, it rained, really rained, it was really windy, we had a hot sunny afternoon, and a really cold night...so that's a pretty good test. Precision engineering
This just looks, feels and works like it is very well made. One example is the screw caps at either end - they just slide in so smoothly and securely. Very snug. The spot the light forms is also a perfect circle - I've never seen that with any torch ever! Dunno why that is important but it looks cool. The light has FIVE settings. Can't remember their names but they equate to 100% beam, ~80%, ~10%, strobe (very urgent) and SOS Morse. I presume the ~80% is basically if you want the regular torch but saving power. The ~10% is good for reading at night - you don't want to blind yourself with a reflection off the page. The strobe is a little too rapid for me - I'm not joking when I say people with epilepsy would probably feel strange using it as I don't have that condition and it makes me feel queasy. Water resistant? Yes. It charges my Galaxy mobile with the mini-USB. The plug thing goes green when charging and red when charged. Nice webbing-like case. I'm not too keen on using this as a...

Nice and bright
This aluminium-bodied torch is compact and solidly constructed. The single LED is very bright.

Its waterproofing is probably its key feature, being capable of total immersion in water, down to a depth of at least 2 metres (apparently). Why do I single out this feature? Well because a number of sacrifices have had to be made in order to provide this ability; most notably, the lack of a focusing mechanism for the light beam, and the lack of a charging-lead connector. Instead, the beam is fixed at a narrow, intensely-bright spot, surrounded by a much dimmer, secondary cone of light, and to charge the lithium-ion battery, you have to unscrew the base of the torch and screw on a special USB recharging adapter. This is yet another proprietary lead to add to my growing collection of miscellaneous charging leads for various bits of electrical equipment. A standard mini-USB port on the torch would have been my preference.
