Not waterproof at all
Bought these for light country/town walking. Picked this make as they were described as being fairly waterproof. Reviews of similar products had included criticism of them not being waterproof (eg. getting soaked after walking through wet grass). Sadly that is exactly what happened to these. On the plus side, they are extremely comfortable, wide-fitting so very stable (my ankles are prone to supination and with these on they didn't do it once, which is marvellous), well made with supportive insoles and a nice solid rubber toe cap. Overall, an excellent shoe, except for the fact that they are not waterproof at all. I walked for several minutes through wet, long grass, and found that the shoes were soaked through and that even my socks were wet! It then took several days to dry them out.

So a good shoe, and one I'd still recommend, as long as you don't expect them to be waterproof.
