Great wellies!
I wanted short wellies for walking to work and these fit the bill perfectly. Easy on/off, easy to store and very sturdy, with deep grips - perfect for the recent snow falls. dont fear the cankle,
My main concern when ordering these was that they'd be too short and give me that cankle look that wrong height boots can, especially if you're short and chubby like me. However, they're great and I actually think that boots which go all the way up to your knees look weird now. The shorter height also makes them a lot easier to get on and off and the pretty design is nicer than the farmer's wife huntress option. I didnt realise this before, but what makes these wellies better and more durable and comfy than the pretty ones you buy in the shops is that these are made from rubber, but the cheaper ones from vinyl. I dropped a star because Im not keen on the Hunter logo which screams from the front. But the sweet pea design is lovely, and the lining is a cute purple polka dot. The size is true too, Im a 6 with narrow feet, so i use a memory foam insole.
