Excellent walking boots
I bought these a month ago to replace some inferior Karrimor boots whose waterproof qualities only lasted a few months. Several friends have lower-end Grisport boots and swear by their comfort levels and quality, and taking size 13 I had to consider looking outside the traditional good boot brands. First impressions were that these are tough boots, and as expected they took a little walking in before the leather softened up a little, the soles and heels were very stiff at first. A couple of winter munros later and the comfort levels increased rapidly, and after 8 significant walks in them now they are really quite comfortable. The vibram grip is good as expected, and as they are quite high they are nice for keeping feet dry on walks where I don't use gaiters. All in all they are progressing perfectly, I will amend this review in a few more months when I see how the build deals with heavy usage.

I can't recommend these boots highly enough!! i clean wheelie bins for a living so my footware gets a really hard life!!! i'd hate to think how many miles i walk in a day and my boots basically get jet washed all day everyday!! i have destroyed certain so say high end
