The lid of each basket folds back and can be secured by the front loop and button. They also have strong convenient carry handles. Our craftspeople produce baskets with bright and colourful designs. This is a beautiful item and very well made! The lid and handles are a lovely and very useful addition. It is large enough to contain A4 files, and could be used for many purposes. I had originally intended to use it to store bleach, etc. in my bathroom, but it's just too nice for that!
