Maglite AA LED
I have 9 Maglite's, 4D cell LED, 2x 3D cell, 1x AA LED Maglite, 3x normal Maglite's (1 with the upgrade) and 2x Maglite'e solitaires. You may ask .......... why so many ........ well these torches in my opinion are the best torches on the market. I work in theatre as a lighting technician so obviously spend most of my days in the dark so use my torches most of every day (often dropped to the floor from height)! So i really do test Maglite's torches to the max! They and Strong and reliable, long lasting, light, and small! and the output of the LED versions are incredible! My AA LED is as bright as my friends Lenser police torch. The batteries are longer lasting than normal torches but they wont last forever (which is what some reviewers expect) the way you know your Maglite is running out of battery is that they start to flicker ..... Change battery and all good! Now I have sent 2 of mine back under warranty due to small problems and within a few weeks i had 2 new Maglite's waiting for...

Compact and bright torch, takes only 2 AA batteries which last ages too, several modes too, full brightness, power saver and two different flashing modes. The focus and spread beams work really well too, much better than the after market LED conversions you can get. A head band instead of a belt holster might be handy.
