This is a special limited edition version of the normal MTE M3-2I XML. The superb quality hard anodised heavy duty aircraft aluminium case is slightly longer than the normal M3-2I with an additional cooling ring to aid heat dissipation. The slightly modified reflector gives a beam which is about 5 degrees tighter than the standard M3-2I XML and it comes with a fortified glass lens, anti roll switch and knurled end cap. Very bright LED torch
Compared with my other LED torches - some costing a lot more, this torch is very bright, the beam has a nice tight hotspot with sufficient overspill for peripheral illumination and colour has less of a green tint than some of my other torches, tending more towards blue. It's very small considering the brightness and fits nicely into a coat pocket. A very minor annoyance for me is that it goes from bright mode to medium via strobe, I would a preferred that it went straight though. That said, it has exceeded my expectations and I am extremely pleased with it so far.

edit 2.12.12 I've had this torch for a little over a year now and its been used pretty much daily, when I take out the dogs last thing at night. I am running it on rechargeable 18650's. Its still working fine, so I am remain very pleased with the purchase.
