We have tried to present and spent a lot of time to givethe most profitable price for you. If you still in doubt, you could find out what they think about Force Ten MK3 Standard - 2012.

Quality all the way
Heavier than a modern nylon tent, but the trade off of comfort, warmth, quality and strength of construction, repairability more than makes up for a couple of Kilos.

Just looking at this, you can see that it will last 20 years, or more.

The downside? Orange, or as they call it Jaffa. Come on! Yeah, great if you're lost somewhere and want to be found, but how about a little free camping? Unless you have an extra fly cover to camouflage the orange, sorry Jaffa, you're going to be found quickly.

I'd love to see it in green, or even brown. Hey though, I've rarely rejected things just because of colour, so yeah this is a great tent and if you buy for quality over modern convenience, this is a great tent.

Even better than I remember!
Despite being made in China ( I was a little sceptical when I read this ) this tent is better than I remember it when I had one 45 years ago. What is the same is the cotton which means breathable fabric and no condensation or moist heat, the beautifully simple and rugged pole system, the ease of solo pitching and the stable design. What have been improved are the anchor system ( a bit more adjustable ), the groundsheet has been upgraded in thickness, it has a little repair kit and a compressible stuff sack.
Weight seems to have increased slightly but I've put this down to decreased muscle tone in the intervening years!
Why did I buy it? I was fed up of cheap(ish) nylon tents having labels warning me about sunshine making the fabric brittle, and having only a few years life because you could not repair them. My children are reaching the age for proper wild camping and I wanted them to appreciate well designed kit and I still feel a bit of wanderlust so the Vango is perfect!
