We have tried to present and spent a lot of time to givethe most profitable price for you. If you still in doubt, you could find out what they think about Force Ten MK3 Standard - 2012.

Quality all the way
Heavier than a modern nylon tent, but the trade off of comfort, warmth, quality and strength of construction, repairability more than makes up for a couple of Kilos.

Just looking at this, you can see that it will last 20 years, or more.

The downside? Orange, or as they call it Jaffa. Come on! Yeah, great if you're lost somewhere and want to be found, but how about a little free camping? Unless you have an extra fly cover to camouflage the orange, sorry Jaffa, you're going to be found quickly.

I'd love to see it in green, or even brown. Hey though, I've rarely rejected things just because of colour, so yeah this is a great tent and if you buy for quality over modern convenience, this is a great tent.

Even better than I remember!
Despite being made in China ( I was a little sceptical when I read this ) this tent is better than I remember it when I had one 45 years ago. What is the same is the cotton which means breathable fabric and no condensation or moist heat, the beautifully simple and rugged pole system, the ease of solo pitching and the stable design. What have been improved are the anchor system ( a bit more adjustable ), the groundsheet has been upgraded in thickness, it has a little repair kit and a compressible stuff sack.
Weight seems to have increased slightly but I've put this down to decreased muscle tone in the intervening years!
Why did I buy it? I was fed up of cheap(ish) nylon tents having labels warning me about sunshine making the fabric brittle, and having only a few years life because you could not repair them. My children are reaching the age for proper wild camping and I wanted them to appreciate well designed kit and I still feel a bit of wanderlust so the Vango is perfect!

We have already done the research and spent much of time to get the best deal for you. If you have any doubts, you can find anything they said about Force Ten MK 5 Standard.

Excellent piece of camping equipment
A first class tent for any conditions. I have had mine for a few years spending at least three months under canvas every year all over the continent. The only drawbacks are sun fading the material & the rubber tension bands becoming worn which you can expect both with normal wear & tear. I would recommend this tent to anyone who is thinking about camping for a number of years,it is a worthwhile investment.

Absolutely fantastic tent - especially for the colder days
It's probably part nostalgia that I love this tent so much and eventually ended up buying one again after going on week-long camping trips in Wales a long time ago. It was a great tent then, with no problem in the wind and rain when we camped near the Offa's Dkye long-distance footpath.

So here's the Vango Force 10 again bought all these years later, designed to replace the summery modern tent my wife and I normally use during the summer. The modern tent I've got is perfectly good in it's two-season way: decent waterproof groundsheet to 2,000HH (a measure of impermeability I think), good waterproof fly-sheet, quick to pitch and large inside...stretched out by the flexible poles we're now all familiar with.

Why the change then and perceived need to go for the Vango apart from some vaguely-felt nostalgia mentioned earlier? The main reasons are 1) We hope to go camping later into Autumn and start earlier in the spring, so could do with a warm tent - if such a thing...
