Light, but doesn't know if it's a day sack or a backpack
I am the proud owner of an OMM32 which is just superb, but, at 32 litres, a tad too small for weekend camping trips. So I bought this in the hope that it would be the same but bigger. Certainly it is light. It is noticably lighter than 3 other rucksacks I have of similar capacity. The build quality is good, but I was surprised to find one of the four compression straps was on backwards compared to the others - though it doesn't matter. The ability to hold a camelback water bottle is good albeit commonplace. The straps are comfortable and I do like the compression strap 'system'. This would be a good rucksack for multipitch rock climbs. The hood compartment with inner zip also good. The side pouches combined with the compression straps will hold walking poles well. It is clear this sack was designed to hold many different types of equipment externally such as crampons, ice-axes, etc.
However... I do miss the pouches on the waist straps. If the rucksack isn't full or nearly so then...
