Compact camping friend
Trangia has always been a trusted brand name, but this little set is fantastic. I'm not a hardcore camper, but I like to travel as light as possible without being obsessive. This takes up very little space if you are packing up the car and the non-stick is an added bonus...no need to think twice if you fancy scrambled eggs for breakfast!

old school cooker
its simple, there is nothing to get broken, its easy to use (even when cold & tired) its surprisingly quick to heat up too. the non stick pans are a blessing, they make it easy to wash while in the wilds.

we don't drink brew's so we got this one without the kettle. if you drink brew's then get the one with the kettle!

is there anything else to say? its a trangia stove, the pans are non stick. if you're looking for a trangia with non stick pans, get this one. its perfect.

Great Tool for Motorcycle Adventure Travel
We used one of these tools on our recent round the world motorcycle trip and it
performed so well it exceeded all our expectations. Apart from having all the tools needed for those 'On the go' maintenance tasks it also helps around the campsite and motel room. The precision of the Swisstool Spirit Plus means it doesnt get jammed up with debris and muck and always performs in the way it was designed, fautlesly. The Hex Tool and bits are surprisingly very strong and it makes the tool very easy to personalise to your specific needs. We used the Hex Tool for tightening, removing and replacing the motorcycles plastic covers and adjusting levers and handlebar controls etc. It was also very useful for the litle hard to get to service points. The additional benefit of the leather pouch means that when you need the tool quickly you can grab it knowing that everything you expect to be there is there. Although we never tried to hang the tool off a belt which it will do of course, you...

great but just not big enough
The Trangia 27 Hardanodised cookset is great in many ways, not to heavy however i do not agree that it is big enough to feed up to two people. My friend and I frequently go on Hill trips and we are not big people but we like our grub and I knew as soon as I saw its dinky pans that I should have got the 25 series.

A Godsend
You may think this to be too much to pay for a multitool. I don't. It is top quality and has been a lifesaver on our motorcycle trip to Mongolia. The tools work smoothly and do the job they're designed for, from screwdriving to cutting to opening bottles and filing.

A top quality piece of kit that feels great to own, hold and use.

'Nuff said.

An entire toolbox in your pocket
Well, maybe that's what Victorinox really wants anyway, an entire toolbox in your pocket. This does not fail to deliver. You know the phrase "jack of all trades, master of none" once you own this tool you will forget that phrase. There is nothing that it is short of.
Firstly, build quality. When you hold this in your hand you know that it is sturdy. It is a heavy tool and the steel parts are thick and extremely sturdy. You will never feel the tool creak or give under stress. The moving parts also feel extremely sturdy with no give to make sure that all the force you are putting into the handle is coming out of the tool rather than being absorbed by it.
The locking mechanism also ensures that the super sharp blade, as well as every other tool, doesn't swing round when you are putting some power into it to chop your arm off.
A plus (in my case at least) is that it is a pure metal and easy to clean. I've used it in fire investigations where it was all I really had to...
