Best hamper ever
We attended Diner en Blanc in London which required EVERYTHING to be white. This super gorgeous picnic hamper couldn't have been any more perfect. It is beautifully deluxe and holds just the right amount of food for 2 people even with 2 bottles of wine inside. I also put small picnic sized salt and pepper mills inside. The Tamar picnic hamper is just the most perfect thing to own. I received loads of compliments on it, and everybody asked where I got it. Peaked!!!
Great tent! Can stand up. Have not yet used it for a holiday. That is to come in July, but I put it up in the garden and slept in it for two nights. Very poor weather, but stood up to it. I do suggest buying new ropes for it as they are black and some heavy duty pegs as the pegs that come with it bend and comes out of the ground too easily.Plenty of room for 6 people comfortably. When I mean comfortably (beds etc in the bedrooms, a double bed in each big bedroom and I would say 1 single in the other) 4 adults 2 kids. You could get 8 with a push. Everything was bone dry with the bad weather we had, so hopefully it will be ok for a 9 night holiday. Can't wait!!!

great tent spacious well designed and light and airy, easy to put up for 2 adults. Downside heavy and bulky in 2 bags, but great for a week or so away if you need lots of space and can take a roof box to put other items in. suppliers were quick and efficient.

Leaks like a sieve
We were so excited to get this tent, then so disappointed when we got it. On opening it, torn groundsheet, porch bar badly bent & mesh insert badly snagged. Then it rained..... We counted 7 separate leaks. The vents keep popping open and letting rain water in even though we kept firmly shutting them. We had to come home early as everything was getting wet. Avoid this tent if you plan on camping in rainy/breezy weather

happy with the boat - but no oars
I'm very happy with the boat but I'd like to have seen in the product description that it doesnt come with oars. No Ive been trying to track down the oars and found them on a german website which takes for ever to arrive and has a very big posting fee...
It says in the product description that only gtx"K" versions come with paddles/oars - however this boat size doesn't even have a "K" version.

Anyway.. hope the oars arrive soon so I can get onto that canal out here :)

A Great Tent
We bought this tent for keeping in the car, when we visited friends at camp sites, rather than use our large tent, as for a one nighter it would be eisier to dry out than the cotton tent, but it has proved itself a very capable tent indeed, and we will use it rather more often as it is so easy and quick to pitch.

Not waterproof
I bought this for a weekend away with my music club. I spent some time trying to work out the guy ropes as there didn't seem to be enough supplied, but it seems you have to loop 1 guy line through a single peg and tie to two parts of the tent making it impossible to adjust the tension. I also realised when it was erected there was only 1 layer and no flysheet. There is also no porch and due to the entrance sloping inward like the rest of the tent, if it has been raining, when you open the zipper from inside water pours in! All my stuff got soaked and my video camera was ruined by the water getting in. I had to come home early and have consigned the tent to the local rubbish tip!
