Teva walking boots
Great boots, but I think the sizing should be revised. A size 7 (US) is said to be a 5.5 English women's. However, I do feel a size 7 American is more like a 4.5, just slightly smaller than a European 38. A 7.5 would be more realistic for a size 5. I have encountered this difficulty in the US and now feel I am a 7.5, or 38, or 5. What threw me was the 5.5 equivalent of a 7, from the size chart, and also I have Teva walking sandals in a 7 which are perfect. However, for this boot I would recommend anyone taking a 5 to order a 7.5.

Too small.
Although I take a size 7 in most shoes these were far too small. Pity because they seemed good quality.

Unbeatable value for money
I bought this shoe because of it's massive discount of seventy five percent to the rrp and the quality brand that is Teva. To be honest I wasn't expecting it to be half as good as it is and my only regret is not buying another pair before they sold out! It is a nice wide fitting which is a refreshing change to most other brands that I have tried and the comfort level is second to none. It has a grippy vibram sole and comes pre-treated with Scotchguard for water repellancy. In my honest opinion there is no better footwear deal on amazon!

Not keen on the front strap placement
Not sure about these. The front strap placement means when tightening the strap it tends to cut across the little toe where it is most sensitive. The strap adjustment over the foot were quite effective but the lack of rear strap adjustment was an issue for me. I found a huge difference in sizes between a 7.5 and a 8.5, one barely accommodating the length of my foot but otherwise snug, the other way to roomy to be functional. They were quite clumpy and unattractive compared to a sandal and I'm not sure whether it would be much more functional with the open heel. It looks better in the photo, at least in the bigger sizes. If you're after toe protection in a sandal style and are lucky enough that the fit is good in your size then these will do the trick. The sole bed is comfortable and well designed and they seem well made. It's a shame Amazon don't carry the half sizes!

Very comfortable
I bought these for my wife as a present. I have a couple of pairs of sandals like this with the closed in toes and find they are better for walking than the open ones. My wife has tried these on a few occasions now and said that they are extremely comfortable to walk in and now she doesn't stub her toes so much. A good piece of kit with a bit more protection than a normal sandal.
