Excellent family tent
We have used this tent three times so far and it has been excellent. If you want a tent that has good sized bedrooms for four of you to sleep in but you are more interested in having a very large living area this is a good tent for you. I have never been able to stand being in a tent where I can't stand up straight - in this one you can stand up in all parts of the tent including the bedrooms. It took us a while to put it up the first time we did it but after only a couple more times of doing it the two of us can put it up in about 25 minutes. We had quite strong winds and heavy rain on one camping trip and there were no leaks at all and it felt very stable. We used the porch area on the side as a place to keep shoes, which was especially handy if they were wet and muddy. There was only one negative that I can think of and that is that there are roll back curtains over quite a bit of the tent , but none directly above the sleeping pods so it could get a bit light in the...

Excellent tent, great value for money.
Received this tent well within the delievery dates given, for free on super saver!
Had a practice run at putting it up, just so easy (for me I would recommend the end poles 1st & then guy rope them to give stability, centre poles after this). I can see it will be interesting in a high wind (but when isn't it when camping)!?!
Everything clips, snaps & fits easily into place. On 1st practice run, put up, pegged out, inners in & then packed away within 1 hour! With just myself & my wife.
Recommend this to anyone with a family.
It's simple, packs small & isn't that heavy, just great.
Thx.

Fab if only there were two sleeping pods to fit!
I received this item quickly and set off the next weekend for an overnight camp. It would have been relatively simple to set up in good weather but in the rain took a little while longer (about 1.5 hours). Fabulously spacious, but it was sent with two left hand sleeping pods so we could only use one of them. Also the zips aren't that sturdy and the main "door" zip immediately separated (the teeth came apart when it was closed). The fabric withstood all night rain and we were still dry in the morning. With some sun and not too much patience, it dried out within a couple of hours by 11am ready for packing. The bag it comes in is a good enough size to get it back in.

So a great bargain at nearly half the price on Amazon, but I was disappointed with the zip quality and returned the item for a refund. I won't be buying Skandika again because of this, but had it been ok, the size of the tent is great and I can imagine that camping in this tent for a week or two would be very...

Not as good as I expected
Two of us camped out for four nights
Fairly easy for two people to put up even though it was windy.
Spacious for two but would be a bit cramped with four. Fair quality pegs and guys. Although a shock cord broke when we took the tent down. I suspect sharp edges in the metal ferule.
Plastic rings that support the inner tent are very brittle and they broke with little strain on them. (elastic bands were a good substitute and these worked well)
Generally* waterproof as tested by two days of light and some heavy rain. * Rain leaked in all along the top of the side door zip. A steady drip soaked a towel hung on a chair under the drip.
More than adequate ventilation, inner tent remained dry. The side vent cover flaps do indeed flap loudly in the wind and these could do with full length velcro to hold them shut. So it was not quite as good as it should have been when compared to my two man
