The Genesis 2 is filled with eco-friendly Pertex Eco Classic insulation, in an overlapping shingle construction for warmth. The wide mummy shape has a large angled footbox and internal collar and hood drawcord for extra comfort, and offers competitive levels of warmth-to-weight in environments where a down-filled bag would not work so efficiently in damp conditions. Bags of warmth
I needed a sleeping bag and needed one fast! After finding out exactly what I needed in terms of temperature and what I'd be using it for. I liked the look, style and specifications of this Rab sleeping bag. It arrived two days later and just in time for my weekend away to a mountain bothy in a remote location on the West Coast of Scotland. It was a little heavier than I expected it to be but I suppose it was my own fault for not paying attention. I also felt it was a bit bulky for the base of my 65ltr rucksack (but again, it's personal preference) so will probably buy a stuff sack to reduce the size for future outings. Other than that I can't really fault it. It was warm and I was comfortable the whole weekend :)
