Is this the most powereful hand torch available?

Torch is well made in aluminium and feels solid. Double O rings to keep water out. 2xCR123A Lithium batteries provided.

So does the torch deliver? Impossible to tell whether there are the full 1000 lumens but it easily outperforms an LED Lenser P7 (4xAAA)and Maglite LED 3D torches - both very powerful torches in their own right with good throw. So very very high power in a torch only 6 inches long that you can carry in a bag or coat pocket.

Do you need such a powerful torch? Well to misquote Clint Eastwood in Dirty Harry 'this is a MTE M3-2I, the most powerful hand torch in the world'. That's as good a reason as any for buying one.

Any downside? Batteries not widely available and can be expensive - so buy some on-line in bulk.

Brilliant!
This torch is amazing! It's so bright and easy to use. The strobe feature works great as do all the settings. Externally, It could benefit from a few anti-slip pieces of rubber . Functionally, the different setting reset to the default 'full power' light once it's turned off (which is a little inconvenient if you don't want to blind everyone in a small area), but other than that, it is a really nice torch.
