Product Details QUECHUA T4.2 DOME, 4 MAN 2 BEDROOM TENT

Quechua T4.2 Dome 4 Man tent with 2 comfortable bedrooms that are 1.4m wide, made from breathable polyester and 4 inside pockets for each bedroom. If there are only 2 of you, it is possible to remove one of the 2 bedrooms to get yourself some extra storage space. As with all Quechua tents, a lot of work is put in to ensuring they are watertight, through laboratory testing (an ENTIRE TENT is put through 200 litres/hr/sq m!) and field testing. It also has a PU-coated polyester flysheet, the seams are sealed with thermo-bonded tape and a 140 g/sq m polypropylene groundsheet. There are 3 ventilation flaps, one at the top and space between the ground and the flysheet. It has 11mm and 9.5mm fibreglass poles. All our fibreglass poles are double-inspected to ensure the best resistance to breakage. The living area is almost 4m², with a width of 1.8m. Its classic 2-pole canopy "extends" the living area. This tent weighs 10.7kg

Good tent, beware of seller
This is a very good tent. It is tall, roomy, convenient for a family or a group of friends. Other reviewers claim that it kept them dry in the rain, but I have not used it in the rain.
It is questionable if it is good for camping in hot environments in the summer, as it is not equipped with enough vents. So, if you think of camping around the Mediterranean in summer, maybe the AIR model by Quechua would be a better choice.
I bought the more expensive AIR model from Best4tents.com, but got sent another model instead. No refund provided, no picking up the phone, no reply to my emails. Their return policy is just for show, I guess. Terrible service, a lot of frustration and a significant economic loss!
But if you are sure that you can buy one without such terrible incidents, then go ahead by all means, Quechua is a very good manufacturer of tents.

Care advice :
1 CLEANING: if need be, clean the tent with soapy water then rinse (with a hose if possible). Then dry completely. 2 RESIN STAINS (very hard to remove): once the stain is dry, gently scratch it off whilst holding an ice cube on the inside of the fabric to make the resin brittle so it will come off more easily. 3 STORAGE: after use or cleaning, do not store your tent until it is completely dry to prevent odours and mould formation.

Fantstic Tent
This is such an amazing tent. I have had it for 2 years and it has been through the recent awful bank holiday downpour, mud and wind. We were dry and comfy and even with the torrential downpour, we were comfy and dry. I love the porch area which is another room as it is very big and ideal for storing your kitchen stuff. We were able to get a table and chairs in and still have room. This is a fab tent for 4 people and extremely spacious for 2 people. I can't recommend it highly enough. It is a bit tricky putting it away but it does get easier and if you follow the instructions properly. This tent is a must for my glamping weekenders!

quenchua xxl iiii is class....huge tent for a pop up.... good quality too. i like separate ground sheet. im an experienced camper/fest goer and i know having a good separate ground sheet will stop moisture and wet coming through..not ideal for backpacking because of the weight but will fit into car or on a bus if ur off for the weekend... this tent is realy easy to pitch. I have practiced taking down too and its easy when you get the hang of it. just beware when taking down that the velcro is attached to poles before you start going through taking down steps ! otherwise tent will not fit into packaging.and you`l feel like banging your head off a wall...im 6 "4 and i have plenty of room inside .... not great head height for me but im not complaining, top pop up !
