Water proof/ breathability 15000mm/10000g. duck down 80/60g, ykk zips. This jacket was bought to replace a Tog 24 ski jacket which I found too heavy and the plastic cuff tightener kept splitting. I first bought a Rip Curl "The Answer", which unfortunately had a faulty press stud. The cut and freedom of movement was enough to make me want to buy the same brand again. This version is 10000, where as "The answer" is 5000 and lighter in weight. It is slightly longer than a ski jacket, the hood unlike the ski jackets I have owned, fits to my head and does not blow off in the wind. In a -7c wind chill I have been walking without feeling the weather. The YKK zips seem a higher quality than "The Answer" and the overall feel is of a much more expensive jacket, which at RRP it is. This jacket allows quick movement, warm and practical ever day use. It has very large pockets for those like me that want to cram many items in there. The size is what I would usually wear for clothes, rather than one...
