incredible power for a head torch
This head torch is the muts nuts! I use mine for biking at night, where it easily competes with friends bike lights that cost 5 times as much. I have owned many headtorches in the past and this is easily the best one I've bought. It's definitely a heavy weight, compared to a lot of the gram scrimping ones available now, but they don't offer anywhere near the trillion candle power output that the apex offers. I use mine with rechargables which last for a couple of hours on full beam, but be warned, when they reach there regulated limit they do tend to die quite quickly. Advisable to keep a spare set of duracells handy! All in all, if you can deal with the weight then this is a powerful and very well made headtorch.

Got my princeton tec apex, first impressions, good quality, looked nice, felt nice, but more importantly how did it perform?
Threw in some batteries and i was away, went outside at night, went fishing, went rock climbing at night, went rambling and it just seemed to tick every box i asked it to tick. If your looking to spend just over 60 bucks on a headlight, look no more. The princeton tec is a seriously nice product if your looking for quality and performance!
