Spacious round shoulders.
I bought one of these Harrier bivi bags locally, and have used it a few times now. It is constructed with two separate tapers - from the feet to above the waist the bag is more of less rectangular, and from there upwards it tapers, giving lots of space for the arms and shoulders. It could however do with a few more inches around the stomach for me (too much beer gut) so I'm not comfortable with my arms down my sides.

Because there are no side walls or reinforced base, the bag is best used with a foam or self-inflating mat under it rather than inside it. It then acts like an extra, waterproof, skin on the sleeping bag.

If I have one niggle then it is the drawstring, which is very long elastic and tends to get tangled on things, and is difficult to pull tight because of the sheer amount of material around the opening. Also, it is difficult to do up tight and roll onto your front (in case of rain) so I would suggest using a small tarp (I use a home-made...

Plenty of room to turn around and at 5' 9" had quite a bit of length spare so would be ok for taller dudes/dudettes. Only niggle is the drawstring which can be a pain when drawn closed as it's very long. Another review I read before purchasing said he had replaced with elastic which would be better. Was dry both nights so can't comment on water proof side of things.
