I love this bag
A smashing bag, very well made, light but strong it seems. Only had it a couple of weeks but am confident, you can just tell sometimes. I does have a 30 year warranty. My mate that has a similar bag 'thing/problem' thinks it's the best one I have ever shown him. I have the brown strip colour, it's smart casual so looks good in town and camping. VERY comfie to wear because it's a little taller than usual backpacks and shallower on the back, so it hugs you rather than stick out lots which will be better on the tube or in a shop. The two pocket on the front have plenty of space, bottom one unzips on 3 sides (good for power supply, cables, DVDs), top one unzips across the top only (compact camera, keys, general crap) and has a flat pocket on front of it (train ticket, aspirin), Last night the main pocket swallowed a magazine, pads, laptop stand, bottle of wine, reading glasses, another laptop, book with space to spare. I bought this bag nearly 2 years ago, it's travelled around the world with me and protected my laptop every step of the way.

It's spacious enough to hold a great deal of your accessories (I was also carrying around a BIG 2.0 Logitech speaker system that weighs about 7.5kg + 2 external hard drives + cables, power-pack etc etc)

Overall I was carrying around 15kg in this bag, and to this day the only signs of wear are around the zipper coating that has started to crack!

Not the cheapest bag in the world, but if you want something that will protect your laptop and all it's contents then this is the bag for you.

Fantastic but could still be better
I bought this pack for a particularly tough 50 miler. It is the second nathan I have bought, the other being the small version for hydration so I already new about the build quality, I was interested in the extra capacity. For that particular event the kit listed included, full waterproof kit, spare socks, spare top, maps, mug, first aid, food, drink and a few other small items. I had to think hard about kit choice but I got it all in - just! The trouble is packs tend to distort when they are over full (not the packs fault) but it was still the most comfortable sack i have ever used for a biggy, and having used it since - more reasonably loaded its been superb. That said I would actually find it better still if it was a little longer in the torso and i'm only 5'10". Now the real niggle, the hydration idea of two bladders combined (water and fuel) is just way to fussy, infact almost a waste of time. If you fill up with water you cant get very much energy drink in at all the secnd...

Excellent piece of kit.
Well designed and constructed back pack. Nice separation for the bladder and plenty of useful pockets for stowage. Pack sits nice and high on the back and strap adjustment is good.

Everything's great... almost.
I bought this bag as part of my winter kit for wild camping.

Pro's:
It's a smashing bag, with plenty of space in the HUGE main compartment, and 10 outer pockets, large and small, to keep anything that you want at hand. The webbing seems tough, and the variety of different configurations you can have regarding removing the outer pockets is great too.

Con's:
I took off one star for two reasons, firstly (and I'm being picky here) the zips have a tendency to stick - this was easily rectified with a little olive oil, but it does indicate that Web-Tex has skimped a little on what should be a 100% high quality product.
Secondly, the first time I tried the bag on my back with some weight in it, I clipped in the hip straps to one another, tightened it... ...and the buckle snapped - luckily I was just in my living room and not stranded out on the fell with 20kg of kit, but needless to say, that could've been a bit of a 'day-ruiner' if it had happened 20...
