NOT WHAT YOU EXPECT FROM OPTIMUS
This stove seems to have had some good reports,indeed the manufacture claims it will boil 1ltr of water in 3 mins.
So with this in mind I eventually spashed out and bought it. At first sight looked a cheao and flimsy affair, the burner (such a tiny affair) was crooked and there was unequal distance between the pan supports and burner,also awkward to open the stove out since the filler and heat shield clashes with the pan support.
However, its an easy stove to get going ,and, unlike many petrol stoves you can adjust to a simmer,but the heat output is dissapointing
It takes 15 min to boil 1 litre of water! In fact this must be the longest time to boil this amount of water on any stove I have tested.
After sorting out the poor assembly, I find do like the stove, however for Optimus to declare a 3 min boil time is very misleading, ther's very few stoves than can achieve this anyway.
There are no tools supplied either.
