excellent quality bag at a very economical price
I have been a lightweight backpacker for a few years , and am always looking at ways to make my pack lighter, however, in May of this year I was in Yosemite California with my old lightweight down bag and with snow on the ground I had some very very cold nights in my bag.

I decided to get a much warmer bag regardless of weight . I would only buy a down bag and after reading many reviews I settled on the Marmot Sawtooth. This bag weighs in at around three pounds (just under) so is heaver than I would have liked however this is an excellent quality bag at a very economical price.

In the first week of October I walked Hadrians wall and slept in the tent with my new Marmot Sawtooth. The weather was awful, cold driving wind, and rain. The bag was excellent, and very very warm. I was very snug and cosy in my bag with the rain beating off the tent and the wind howling around the wall.A couple of nights I had to unzip the bag because I was too warm !!

Lovely sleeping bag
I bought this sleeping bag for my son when he was 13, 4 years ago, and it has proved very useful in all weather conditions. When I decided to buy a good sleeping bag myself I searched a lot and visited shops to touch the material. I finally decided to buy the same, as it is both light and very soft at touch and I have not regretted it! It is confortable in mild weather and really nice in cold weather. I have only tried down to 4 degrees C, but I am sure I will find it confortable at much lower degrees - to be tested this winter.
