Slippy soles
I bought these as they were flatties and thought that they looked robust yet not clumpy. I have been wearing them for three weeks and have found them to be warm enough for autumnal weather, the upper ankle section can be folded up or down and looks good with both skirt and jeans. I find them a little loose around the heel, causing my heel to slide up and down as I walk. This is tolerable as I just wear thicker socks/tights. However, there is no way I would wear them in icy, slippy conditions as the sole is completely smooth, no grip whatsoever! It is my intention to have a further sole attached to the boot which hopefully will improve matters. Calling them Snow Boots is misleading and Gola should rethink the name!!
