Great boots
I am now on my second pair of Lithium boots and they are wonderful. Really comfortable (to the extent that I generally wear them in place of shoes) and perfect for their intended task; which is hill walking. Not suitable for really extreme conditions however but I am a bit of a fair weather walker anyway.
Poor cutting lets boots down
This is the second pair of Brasher boots I have owned. The first pair being worn every day on gentle dog walks over varying terrain lasted well over a year until the sole wore out.
This pair however do not seem quite as good. The leather surround on the lace up portion is poorly cut and doesn't quite meet the main body of the boot at the toe end and will I suspect eventually let in water.
Comfort is good and the grip on various different surfaces appears fine. Time will tell as to whether the poorly made surround will be an issue.
