I have these in black, and would really recommend for British winters.

Warm, waterproof and very snug, these boots are fab in wintry conditions. Watch out for ice though - as any shoe/boot, these don't grip ice and because they're snow boots you can get a false sense of security.

Do be aware of sizing. These are, for me, a snug fit so I wouldn't get away with very thick socks. However a larger size boot would not have been well fitting at all. The boots are so warm though, regular socks are fine.

Lovely looking boot and was happy to wear them on a visit to Olso in the snow! However within a few hours I had blisters on both heels and found the boots very difficult to wear . The heel rubs because the back of the boot is quite hard and the laces prevent the ankle area being pulled in tight enough to stop friction. Shame because they look great! I shall try to soften them for the next time I wear them but at moment, a week later, my heels are still too sore to even contemplate putting on boots!
